Get Ready for the 2026 Golf Season - Our Annual Weekend Golf Clinic Is Coming This Spring!

Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort Weekend Golf Clinic

Friday, April 10th - Sunday, April 12th, 2026

Join us at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in the picturesque Poconos for a weekend of instruction and on-the-course fun. Designed to accommodate Advanced Beginner, General, and Intermediate golfers, you will receive golf instruction based on your golfing ability.

The price includes accommodations for two nights, 6 hours of instruction with a combination of Full Swing and Short Game training followed by two afternoons of course play with your group on the 18 hole golf course.

This package also includes; all range, greens and cart fees. Six meals included in the package - dinner on Friday night, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

WGANJ Educational Seminar - 2026 (11 Apr 2026)

Join us at this in-person workshop to learn more about our organization and how you can make the most of your WGANJ membership. Members of our board will be on hand to also answer questions about the basic rules of golf and golf etiquette.

Everyone can benefit from this session:

New members can find out more about leagues, outings, and member benefits.
Beginner and advanced beginner golfers can ask questions about the game.
More experienced players can ask questions about the rules or strategies for playing.

This is a FREE event for all WGANJ members. And, it’s a great opportunity to meet other members.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 11,2026 at 10:00am at a location to be determined. A Continental Breakfast will be available.

While the event is free, please register so we have a head count for the venue.

The WGANJ Board of Directors meets monthly to plan and discuss the activities and operations of the organization. Feel free to join us and see how the organizational process works. Be a part of WGANJ and help shape our future. Advanced registration is suggested in order to provide a light dinner and record attendance.

Location of the monthly meetings of the Board of Directors may vary. Currently the present location will be at 17-01 Pollitt Drive, Fair Lawn, NJ.

Members are always welcome to join the meeting and become involved in the workings of the organization.

As an "all-volunteer" organization, we depend on you, the member, to get involved and keep the organization running and moving forward. We are dedicated to offering members the best golfing opportunities for women in New Jersey.

May 15-17, 2026 WGANJ Spring Education Weekend!

New Venue! New Instructors!

The beautiful Seaview Golf Resort in Galloway, NJ, just minutes from Atlantic City, is the new location for the annual spring weekend on May 15-17, 2026. We are so excited to be able to play the same course that is home to the ShopRite LPGA Classic. You will have the opportunity to improve your game with instructors from the world-famous Bird Golf Academy. (Note that this program is not intended for the Beginner golfer.)

What's included?

Two nights single or double occupancy accommodations.
3-4 hours of instruction, including 9 holes on the course play with the instructors each day.
Unlimited golf after instruction each day.
Discussion of etiquette and course management.
Lunch in the hotel restaurant both days. (Breakfast and dinner are on your own.)

Cost for Single Occupancy is $1400, including all taxes and fees. A $500 deposit is required by November 1, 2025, with the balance due April 1, 2026. (Deposit is non-refundable.)

Cost for Double Occupancy is $1,200 including all taxes and fees. A $500 deposit is required by November 01,2025 with the balance due April 01,2026. (Deposit is non-refundable)

The league encourages growth in your game and welcomes general golfers to step up and see if you are ready for the next level of play. Some courses may be too difficult for a general golfer; players are encouraged to check out course ratings and descriptions before registering to play any particular course.
